Positive Mind - Positive Life
Did you ever look back at life and ask yourself, “when was the most insightful moment”, “where was the most beautiful picture”, “what was the most memorable and meaningful action” in your life? If they indeed exist, I sincerely believe that it was not the time that we had the most money, nor the time that we relished the sensual gratifications. Those are but fragile and fleeting. It was also not the time that we engaged in controversial challenges with others since the happiness of one person becomes the suffering of another.
If they indeed exist, I sincerely believe that those are the presence of true friendship and the reflection of pure love as those are the actions with loving kindness to help others in their time of trouble. To have such moments, such reflections, such noble actions, our mind has to possess the appropriate and respectful qualities. Please keep in mind that the qualities of our mind shape the qualities of our lives. That, I believe, is the meaning of the theme of this third
retreat, “Positive Mind, Positive Life”. With the opportunity we have today, I wish all of us will promote good qualities in our hearts and our way of life. Thank you very much.
